Bobby Deol has been missing from the spotlight for the past three years. His last release Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, featuring father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol sank without a trace, after which Bobby went underground, refusing to be seen in public.
It now appears that Bobby was bracing himself for the big comeback all along.
A close friend of the actor reveals, “Changez is Bobby’s first action film since Soldier and Bichchoo. He was training hard for his comeback film. In the film, Bobby plays a one-man army, akin to Sylvester Stallone in Rambo and Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminator.”
He adds, “Bobby knows that he needs to compete with the current action level brought in by the likes of Tiger Shroff. He is training hard and has gotten back into shape.”
Changez is being directed by debutant Vivek Singh Chauhan and will feature Monica Dogra opposite Bobby. Bobby’s brother, Sunny is expected to make a guest appearance in the film.
