Sushant Singh Rajput and Dinesh Vijan are clashing at the box office once again. Earlier this year Dinesh’s Luka Chuppi was pitted opposite Sushant’s Sonchiriya and now we hear, Sushant’s next film Chhichhore is also slated to clash with Dinesh’s Made in China starring Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy. It is to be noted that producer Dinesh had made his directorial debut with Raabta (2017) starring Sushant. Although the film failed at the box office, Sushant and Dinesh had shared some good vibes during the making of the film. The film also featured Kriti Sanon in the lead.
“Well, there are 52 weeks and people need to find a release window somewhere. Chhichhore has been mounted on a very large scale by director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Sajid Nadiadwala and is a very important film for Sushant. Rajkummar Rao is also an established actor with a proven record. It would be unfortunate if the clash eats into the collections of both films as they do target a similar audience,” says a trade source.
