Shraddha Kapoor, who is acting with her sibling Siddhanth Kapoor for the first time in Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai, has been taking an active interest in the creative aspects of the film. She has even contradicted director Apoorva about a courtroom scene.
A close source reveals, “While shooting a crucial court scene in the movie, Shraddha wasn’t happy with the way it had turned out, hence the actress went ahead and demanded Apoorva to re-shoot it. However, director requested her to stick to the original shot.”
Touted to be one of Shraddha’s most challenging movies so far, Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai, on Haseena Parkar and Dawood Ibrahim’s lives, is set to release on July 14. The film will also be shown to the Parkar family, in a special screening, since the movie will chronicle Haseena’s life from the age of 17 to 40.
