Here's why Sanjay Dutt is keen to see Ranbir starrer Dutt biopic's trailer on May 8

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic has interested many for obvious reasons. Ranbir has carried off the look pretty well and there’s nothing less than being awed over it.

The movie wrapped up in style (Dutts The Way) and now, before the release in June, the fans are super eager for the movie’s trailer, which Sanjay Dutt wants to be out on May 8. The date is a special date in Sanju baba’s career, as he made his Bollywood debut 37 years back on May 8 with ‘Rocky’.

“Sanjay started his career with ‘Rocky’, which released on May 8, 1981. Naturally, the date is very important and memorable for him,” says a source to DNA.

5 days before the release of ‘Rocky’, Sanjay lost his mother and Sunil Dutt lost his wife Nargis to cancer. Co-incidentally Sanjay and Sunil starred in the movie (without having any scenes together), also directed by Sunil Dutt. Years later, the father-son got casted as father-son in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Munnabhai MBBS’.
