Salman Khan's security beefed up following death threats, actor uncomfortable

After the Padmaavat team was accorded additional security, it is Salman Khan who has been receiving death threats. The actor’s security has been beefed up after he received intimidating threats from Laurence Bishnoi, a gangster.

On Sunday night, when Salman was shooting for the Bigg Boss 11 finale, his security was doubled. In addition to the posse of security men and bodyguards from his Man Friday Shera’s team, Salman was also in the company of a few policemen, who ensured that he was at a safe distance from anyone who could mean trouble. Apparently, he was a little uncomfortable with so many people around him, but Salman doesn’t have a choice as of now.

Laurence belongs to the Bishnoi community, for whom the black buck or the chinkara, is sacred. He went on to say that Salman will be killed in Jodhpur for allegedly killing a black buck during the shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain two decades ago. “But our team does not want to take any chances. The chances of the gangster saying that the attack could be in Jodhpur could merely be a red herring,” says a source close to the actor.

Incidentally the shooting of one of the sequences for the film Race 3 was cancelled, becuase of threats to Salman.
