Mumbai: If word is to be believed, bhai fans will have to wait a good 20 minutes before they can see Salman Khan on screen in Tiger Zinda Hai. This, not counting the advertisements that will run before the film starts.
Sources close to Tiger Zinda Hai confirm that Salman’s entry in the film is quite a wait. “You don’t get to see his face on the first look. It’s quite like one of those Rajinikanth films, where you get to see his hand, leg and swag, before you get a glimpse of bhai,” says the source.
Tiger Zinda Hai, which deals with the airlifting of nurses caught in crossfire between Iraqi forces and ISIS rebels, isn’t the first of its kind in India. An acclaimed Malayalam movie, Take Off, was made on the same topic earlier by Mahesh Narayanan. The movie was shown this year at IFFI, Goa, and ostensibly, the makers dropped the idea of a Hindi remake, once Tiger’s plot was revealed.
