I don't think bikini is sexy: Alia Bhatt
Mumbai: While speaking at a conference for the launch of a fashion magazine’s special issue, Alia Bhatt spoke at length about her take on fashion and revealed that bikini, according to her, does not really make one sexy. Bhatt said,” Bikini can be sexy because you are showing skin but I don’t think that is necessarily sexy.
When asked about her favourite attire, the outspoken actress said, “…Saree, I haven’t explored much. I will opt for pyjamas because that is a lot more effortless and easy to wear.”
The ‘Student of The Year’ actress asserted that fashion is all about comfort and should be a reflection one’s personality. “… I relate myself to the trends the way they fit me. I don’t go for something just because they are happening trends at that time. I only make that my own if that suits my personality. Making my fashion statement is all about your personality and the person that you are. Following trends blindly doesn’t make you a fashion icon. You have to have a direction about the trends you follow,” added Alia.
Alia, who is currently promoting her upcoming flick based on life lessons, ‘Dear Zindagi’, rubbished the rumour on Ali Zafar being dropped from the movie. “No one has been replaced. The film will release in full form. We can leave that topic as it has died now,” confirmed Alia.
‘Dear Zindagi’ will see Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of a psychiatrist and the film hits theatres on November 23 in the United States and will be released in India after two days.
