Hrithik Roshan is a gift to Bollywood and I copy him: Tiger Shroff
Mumbai: It is no secret that Tiger Shroff idolises Hrithik Roshan and has always some of the nicest things to say about the man he has grown up ‘copying’. Yes, in an interview he has admitted to copying the ‘Mohenja Daro’ star and reveals that similarity in there dancing style is a result of it.
The ‘Heropanti’ star said, “He is multi-talented and a gift to the industry. I am a fan of him since childhood and used to copy his steps as a child. That’s why there are similarities in the way we dance. I feel he’s the only complete package in the industry.”
Tiger, who is playing the role of a die-hard Michael Jackson fan in his next ‘Munna Michael’, was all praise for his ‘Baaghi’co-star Shradhha Kapoor.
“Shraddha is a delight to work with, very hard working and very simple. Even after giving blockbusters, she is really down to earth and simple soul,” he added.
Although Tiger’s last release, ‘A Flying Jatt’ failed to perform at the box office, the actor is going out of his way to recreate some of the iconic movies of the deceased legend Michael Jackson. In order to do justice to the King of Pop’s dance style, a few songs were sent to Los Angeles for choreography.
Shabbir Khan, the director of the film, was quoted as saying, “The song was recorded in Mumbai and sent to LA, where a team of American choreographers created dance videos which our Bollywood team and Tiger have recreated here. We’re keeping all the quintessential elements of Hindi cinema -heroism, music, dance and action -intact while trying to raise the bar.”
Shroff has time and again said that this role is by far the toughest. We can only hope that this film earns him admiration and commercial success.
