Watch: The teaser of Anna Hazare's biopic will give you goosebumps

Mumbai: 'Anna Hazare: Kisan Baburao Hazare,' the biopic on the man who galvanised an entire nation into proactivity, is here and it's as inspiring as the man himself.

Helmed by Shashank Udapurkar, the film has the director portraying the eponymous leader.

The 130 minute long film was shot for over a year at locales in Anna's native village Ralegan-Siddhi in Ahmednagar and also in Mumbai, New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Rajasthan.

Actress Tanisha Mukherjee will also be seen as a journalist, researching on Anna's life. The film also stars Rajit Kapoor, Sharat Saxena and Govind Namdeo.

The film, produced by Rise Pictures Private Limited, will chronicle the social activist's transformation into the unanimously revered man that he is today.

The film, all set to be dubbed into English and other regional languages, will release on October 14.
