Twinkle Khanna mocks Salman and SRK post hubby Akshay's Toilet's successful run?
Mumbai: 2017 hasn’t started off well for the Bollywood region; it has been a deserted island, with big banner films dooming at the Box Office.
Huge Eid and Raksha Bandhan releases from superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan failed miserably.
There were hopes hanging on to Akshay Kumar’s social satire ‘Toilet- Ek Prem Katha,’ and the film did not let down the audience.
It minted Rs. 51.45 crores on weekend and is still going on strong at the Box Office.
The happiest with this successful run is wife Twinkle Khanna, who is known for her witty talks.
Excited with hubby Akshay’s film’s good-run, Mrs Funnybones tweeted, “So even the box office needed this Toilet eventually to break free from its constipation-#ToiletEkPremKath Hit Hit Hooray!”

However, the tweet seems like a dig at Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, as their previous releases- ‘Tubelight’ and ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, bombed at the box office.
‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’ also features Bhumi Pednekar in a pivotal role.
