Imtiaz Ali’s next starring Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka to be called The Ring?

Mumbai: Ever since filmmaker Imtiaz Ali announced his next with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, fans are waiting patiently for more information to pour in on the project. If the recent buzz is to be believe, SRK and Anushka starrer film has been titled ‘The Ring’, but for the time being.

According to a leading daily, Imtiaz’ next starring Bollywood’s King Khan and Anushka Sharma will be tentatively called ‘The Ring’.

 

Apart from this, the film also has a working title. Since this is Imtiaz Ali's 52nd project with Red Chillies Entertainment, the film’s working title is 'Production No. 52'. Reports further reveal that Anushka will play the role of a Gujarati in the film. 

Though not much has been yet revealed about the film, we do know that it’s a romantic flick. The titbit was hinted by none other than SRK himself. On his Twitter account, Shah Rukh Khan had earlier dropped the hint by writing, “Revealed Imtiaz Ali story “That u become such an unquestionable part of me, that I can’t find the beginning of ur heart and the end of mine.”

 

Anushka, who stepped in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, is now all set to share screen space with the actor for the third time in Imtiaz Ali's next. While this is Anushka’s third film with Bollywood’s King Khan after her debut and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, we’ll see the actress collaborating with the director for the very first time.

According to reports, Shah Rukh will being shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s film in August before moving on to Anand L Rai’s flick. Imtiaz Ali’s script is ready and waiting to go on floors. Imtiaz hopes to release the film, which is taunted to be a romantic drama, by early 2017.
