A few years ago, circa 2009, there were rumours doing the rounds that Katrina Kaif was planning to start her own production house in order to remake the French film Priceless, but the actress dismissed them as false. Similar reports have resurfaced once again. We hear that Katrina is keen on backing some good films in which she can play prominent parts. Salman Khan is reportedly encouraging her to go ahead with her plans.
“Bhai has launched many new faces and helped many people set up their own production companies. He is very fond of Katrina Kaif and is keen on seeing her grow and do things beyond acting. There will come a time in her career when Katrina will want to multi-task. She’s spent a good 15 years in the film industry since her debut with Boom in 2003. But we’re not sure when she will take the next step; she is extremely busy right now,” an insider reveals.
