When KJo played spoilsport for lovebirds Ranbir, Alia for project before Brahmastra

When news about a star couple, whether married or unmarried, starts doing the rounds, everyone wants to capitalise on the relationship. This is exactly what a brand tried to do when they decided to rope in both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to promote a product.

The pair will be seen together on screen too when the promotions for their film Brahmastra begins. However, it was mentor Karan Johar who advised the duo against endorsing brands together so soon.

“Karan knows when to use Brahmastra. The film will release on Independence Day next year and there is a lot of time till then. It doesn’t make sense for these two actors to expose their chemistry so soon. If they endorse a brand together during Brahmastra, it will also help the film,” informs our source.
Ranbir and Alia’s teams have decided that they will not endorse the brand for now, but a concrete decision will be taken in due time.
