Mumbai: With films such as ‘Baazaar,’ ‘Chef’ and filmmaker Vipul Shah’s next, the year 2017 is undoubtedly the busiest one for Saif Ali Khan.
The ‘Rangoon’ actor will be seen playing interesting characters such as that of a businessman in ‘Baazaar,’ chef in ‘Chef’ and a doctor in Vipul Shah’s untitled medical drama.
Next what we hear is that the recently turned dad to adorable son Taimur, Saif will next be seen playing a soldier’s role in Navdeep Singh’s action drama, based on the battle of Buxar.
The period film is being produced by Aanand L Rai, which is about the war between the British East India Company versus the combined forces of the Nawabs of Bengal and Awadh and Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II.
Saif will step into the shoes of the commander-in-chief Najaf Khan of the Mughal Imperial Army for this film.
Well, Saif’s last outing, ‘Rangoon’ was a war film, which flunked miserably at the box-office.
Let’s see if these films can change the fate of the actor’s acting career.
