Radhika Apte, who will be seen next in Phobia, says that the film was one the most emotionally and physically stressful journeys ever for her. The film has been directed by Pavan Kirpalani and releases at the end of the month. However, sources close to her say that she maybe a little worried about the absolute lack of buzz around it.
Speaking about the film, Radhika said at the trailer launch, “The film is about agoraphobia (fear of the environment) and a lot of research went into it. It was the most difficult film to shoot for.” The makers of the psychological thriller have used virtual reality technology in the film, which is a first in Bollywood. However, not too many people are talking about it, which is apparently making Radhika anxious.
A close source says, “Radhika is not happy with the way the film is being marketed. She is not satisfied with the strategies of the film promotions and is worried about the low buzz around it.”
