New Delhi: Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan wishes to star in the remake of 1965 film 'Guide', starring Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman.
The 34-year-old actor, who made his Bollywood debut with the remake of 1980 movie ‘Khoobsurat’, said he is an admirer of that era of filmmaking.
"There is a film that I have never seen it completely, but I have watched a portion of it in my childhood. It's 'Guide'. If offered, I would love to star in the film's remake. I am a very big fan of travel driven films and also that period," Fawad told reporters.
The actor, who became popular in India courtesy to his TV shows 'Humsafar' and 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai', will next be seen in Bollywood film 'Kapoor & Sons'.
Directed by Shakun Batra, the film also stars Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. It will hit screens this Friday.
