Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan proved that he is master of his craft in an edge of the seat trailer of 'Fan'.
The film centers around Gaurav (Shah Rukh Khan), whose world revolves around the mega movie star Aryan Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan) or God as he refers to him. From the by lanes of Delhi, young Gaurav embarks on a journey to the city of dreams, Mumbai, in order to wish his idol on his birthday. However, things don't go according to plan and his love turns into a dangerous obsession.

Amidst high octane action sequences, Gaurav takes on a mission to harm Aryan and thereafter states that now, a star will chase his fan. The trailer ends on a thrilling note, wherein Gaurav says, "Gaurav hai toh Aryan hai. Gaurav nahi, toh Aryan kuch bhi nahi."

At an event Shah Rukh had expressed that he wouldn't have been able to do justice to these roles without director Maneesh's guidance. He said, "I won't say it was easy because I was playing a movie star, the way I do in real life. So, it doesn't take you away from the real world. Maneesh and the whole team had a great understanding of how Gaurav was. 50 percent of what you see in Gaurav is a physical transformation-- prosthetics and VFX have been used. 100 per cent Gaurav is Maneesh's vision."
