When Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan got angry on Indian Idol hosts

Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have always been jovial in nature and their prankster side came out to play on the sets on Indian Idol 9, on Monday evening where the duo made an appearance with Rangoon co-star Kangana Ranaut.

At the outset of the show, when host Karan Wahi and Paritosh Tripathi introduced the star cast of Rangoon, Shahid appeared to lose his cool and demanded to know if that was how they introduce their celebs. Saif also seemed to be incensed on Shahid’s behalf. Just as Karan started a nervous explanation, the two burst out laughing and said that they were just playing a prank on him.

Kangana, who was in on the plan from the start, said, “Why did you guys tell him so soon? Thoda aur satana chahiye tha (You should have made him suffer a bit longer).” When contacted, Karan Wahi said, “I was scared because sometime back before the shoot began, I had spoken to my team backstage about how they were going to be introduced. I have known Shahid for years so I was a little scared of upsetting him, but when I came to know that all three were miffed, I just wanted to run away from the floor.” Well played, Shahid, Saif and Kangana!
