The promotional video was shot on the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also directed by Johar. The scene is Poo’s introduction and portrays how she wants to go to the prom with a guy with good looks at 10 on a scale of one to ten. She rejects everyone including Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim who is an assistant director in the movie. Poo’s search ends with Ranveer but Ranveer rates her at ‘2’.
Though some fans went gaga over the scene, many were unimpressed. The audience seems to have given the video a rating of 2/10. After Alia Bhatt posted the video on her social media, Kareena herself commented saying “My Darling Alia”. Sidharth Malhotra too posted a video where he recreated Shah Rukh Khan’s entry in K3G.
There was talk earlier of Kareena and Karan planning a spinoff on Poo’s character from the film. But the actress told us earlier, “I think we should remember it for what it was. When people talk about K3G they talk about Poo and I would like it to remain that way and live with that.”
