Stars dazzle at the Ambani wedding feast

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s opulent wedding festivities on Wednesday evening were a sight to behold. Especially since the attendees included the who's who from the world of politics and showbiz.

Among the earliest arrivals were newly-weds Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas, followed by Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar who escorted his best friend Gauri Khan to the wedding feast.

Strangely, Shah Rukh Khan who danced his heart out at the couple's sangeet ceremony gave the wedding a miss. However, the Bachchans showed up in all their glory.

Among the political bigwigs, former Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Hillary Clinton were prominently present. However both made early exits.

The celebrations were extravagant and elaborate, like an invitee mentions, “If there's anything like too much enjoyment, then this was it. It went on for days. Perhaps getting Beyonce was excess in extravagance, she charges approximately 20 crore rupees per event. This could have funded the marriages in at least a 100 economically challenged homes.”

Moreover, guests were happy to see Mukesh Ambani's younger brother Anil Ambani actively participating in the wedding festivities. It was the time to set all differences aside and the brothers did just that.
