Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have spent Rs 144 crore for a lavish house: Report

Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been successfully painting the Internet red with their never-ending social media PDA, sweet photos and tributes to each other, giving everyone major couple goals. The two also never fail to support each other when it comes to their professional endeavours. In December, Priyanka and Nick will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary. Ahead of their big moment of joy, the power couple is reportedly planning to own an expensive property.

According to latest report in The Wall Street Journal, Nick and Priyanka spent whopping $20 million which is Rs 144 crore for a 20,000-square-foot property. Where as, Nick's elder brother Joe Jonas and his actress wife Sophie Turner spent $14.1 million for a 15,000-square-foot home just a few miles away.

The report further said that the couple's snazzy home has seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, high ceilings, and ample outdoor space. On the other hand, Sophie and Joe’s home is smaller, which has 10 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.

The 'Quantico' star had talked about having a new home in a September interview to Vogue. “Buying a home and having a baby are on my to-do list,” she said. “For me, home is wherever I’m happy, as long as I have the people I love around me," Priyanka added.

On the work front, Priyanka will be seen in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez feature 'We Can Be Heroes.' She will also star as the lead in the adaptation of the Man Booker-winning novel 'The White Tiger', for Netflix alongside Rajkummar Rao. The upcoming film is based on the Booker prize-winning book by Aravind Adiga. Nick was last seen in a war drama 'Midway', and his next release is Dwayne Johnson led 'Jumanji: The Next Level', which is slated to release in December.
