Star kid Ananya Panday is just one film old in the industry and feels that more roles should be offered for actors form different age groups.
“Equality for women is very important, and I feel we should have more Indian stories because we have so many stories to tell. I also feel in mainstream films, there should be more roles for all the age groups, like what Neena (Gupta) ji did in Badhaai Ho. She was the central character, so I feel all age groups should have central roles to play.”
Meanwhile, while the actress says she looks up to Alia Bhatt. “I don’t think I follow anyone, but I really look up to Alia because the choices she has made are commendable. She does commercial films, but at the same time, she also does something very different. I like her films and obviously Kareena Kapoor Khan’s because she is everyone's favourite.”
