Atul Kasbekar joins hands with Balaji ex-CEO Tanuj Garg to form film company

Mumbai: Famous photographer Atul Kasbekar, who had recently ventured into production with the acclaimed film ‘Neerja’ is setting up a film company named Ellipsis Entertainment and has collaborated with Tanuj Garg, former CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, on this initiative.

Kasbekar’s partners on ‘Neerja’ like Shanti Sivaram Maini, Swati Iyer Chawla and Piya Sawhney, are also a part of this collaboration.

Garg has an experience of 15 years in the field of film production, and was previously involved with several films such as ‘The Dirty Picture’, 'Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaraa' and 'Lootera' among others for Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, Disney UTV and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

The company has stated that they will back content-driven films with appropriate budgets, spot and back talent while supporting progressive, engaging and marketable content.
