Polish actress Erika Kaar, who is the leading lady of Shivaay, is all set to impress the audience with her fluent Hindi. The trailer of the Ajay Devgn directorial was launched a few days ago and it has become a talking point since then. Erika plays Ajay’s love interest in the film.
During a chat with us, Erika revealed that in Poland, Kajol is a bigger star than Ajay Devgn. “Bollywood is not popular in Poland, but Kajol is really huge there. I hadn’t heard about Ajay but I had heard about her. When I told my friends that I would be working with Kajol’s husband, they were in awe,” she says. Erika adds that she hasn’t seen too many Bollywood films. “Over there people think Bollywood is Slumdog (Millionaire). Only after I came here, did I realise how big a phenomenon it really is. I saw a few clips of films like Bajirao Mastani and then there are films shot during Holi that are so colourful and gorgeous.”
