'I do not have the power to do so': Varun on what makes him different from Salman

It is a known fact that Salman Khan likes to have complete control over his films and decides the cast, crew, including the directors and even the producer at times. Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, prefers to focus on his work as an actor.

Varun, who has worked with Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Taapsee Pannu and Ileana D’Cruz among other actresses was last seen in October, opposite a newcomer, Banita Sandhu.

Talking about how he chooses to stay uninvolved in the casting process, the actor says, “I do not decide the heroines in my film. There is a perception that if there is a hero, then he is the one who is going to cast the heroines in the film. I do not have the power to do so. The filmmakers will decide which actress to cast opposite me.”
