We would have shot on Everest, if we could have: Rahul Bose on shooting Poorna
New Delhi: Rahul Bose, who is coming up with his movie 'Poorna', believes that they would have shot on Everest, if they could have, to show the inspiring journey of Poorna Malavath.
"When we started filming 'Poorna' I was certain we should shoot at as many actual locations as we can. So we shot at Poorna's village, Pakala, her actual hut, the actual location (Bhongir) she learnt rock climbing on, and at HMI, Darjeeling where she learnt mountaineering. We would have shot on Everest if we could have, but I doubt my crew from Bombay would have survived!"
Rahul, also shot a few scenes at the real Poorna's house, where she used to say.
Recently, the 49 year-old-actor led a special 'Ladkiyan Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hain' trek on International Women's Day, that highlighted 'Poorna's undying spirit to fearlessly achieve her dreams.
