Mumbai: For the past few days, there are reports doing the rounds that Fawad Khan was approached for a role in PK however he couldn’t do it because of Kapoor and Sons.
While the first part is true, the second part is not. Yes, Rajkumar Hirani did approach Fawad for the role of Sarfaraz. However, at that time Fawad Khan had other commitments. The shooting of PK started in February 2013 and it was around that time when Fawad was sounded off about the role. He couldn’t have let go of the offer because of Kapoor and Sons because Shakun’s film went on floors last year.
Rajkumar Hirani had approached Fawad Khan for the role of Sarfaraz which later went on to Sushant Singh Rajput.
Fawad was committed to some other projects and not Kapoor and Sons. In fact we hear Fawad Khan really regrets missing out on doing PK which turned out to be the biggest grosser of all times.
