Priyanka 'honoured' to be UNICEF Global Ambassador, meets Beckham, Jackie Chan

Priyanka Chopra has definitely launched herself on a big scale globally by making her presence felt in international projects like ‘Baywatch’ and ‘Quantico’. The actress made an appearance at the Academy Awards, Grammys and several other major events previously and is now undoubtedly a popular face in the West.

Priyanka was previously associated with the UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador on a national level and her global popularity seems to be one of the factors behind the association now being taken on a global level.

Priyanka took to social media to announce the news that she was on board as the UNICEF Global Goodwill Ambassador to take forward the work she had done in India on a global scale and that she felt 'honoured'. The actress would be working on the ‘for every child’ initiative, which works towards protecting children’s rights around the world.

Priyanka also shared pictures where she is posing along with the likes of superstars like Jackie Chan, David Beckham, Orlando Bloom among others.
