Parineeti defends Priyanka on blink-and-miss Baywatch trailer appearance

Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra might have been subjected to a lot of ridicule courtey her blink-and-miss appearance in the much hyped ‘Baywatch,’ but her sister Parineeti Chopra is confident that she will be fantastic in the film.

The actress, at a recent event, was all praise for PeeCee, who’s been making waves across the West, courtesy her successful turn as Alex Parrish in ‘Quantico’.

"Of course, I have seen the trailer and it's amazing. I have seen the show. 'Baywatch' is a big brand and she is part of it and it's the proudest thing," she said ecstatically.

When prodded on her achingly brief appearance in the grand two minute long trailer of the film, starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario, she was defensive of Priyanka.

"I think a trailer is cut according to the story. I don't think we can get involved in it. She is going to be fantastic in the film. I have seen some stills of the film and she is looking amazing. I am sure she will be amazing in the film as well,” she maintained.
