Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani made headlines as soon as it was announced that the two will be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Both actors already have huge fan bases, the pairing of the two is more than enough in itself to make the franchise a hit one. “The script of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is extremely funny and scary at the same time. While the actors have begun shooting for this film, the makers are already happy with the scenes that have been shot. The film has written blockbuster all over it. It is a star-driven film backed by interesting content which has not been shown on celluloid before,” says a source close to the film.
While the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a remake of a South Indian film, the sequel to it is original. The makers plan to make it an out and out entertainer, and they are also cashing on the new pairing of Kartik and Kiara. The Aneez Bazmee sequel is targeting to wrap up the movie by March.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa, originally helmed by Priyadarshan, was based on the Tamil film Chandramukhi (2015) with Rajnikanth in the lead. Chandra-mukhi too was a remake of the Malayalam film Manichi-trathazhu (1993).
