Why Ranveer Singh's injury is good news for Padmavati makers

Weird as it might sound but the makers believe that Ranveer Singh's injury while filming leads to success of the film.

Mumbai: After playing an intense role of Maratha warrior in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2015 hit Bajirao Mastani, actor Ranveer Singh is all set to set silver screen ablaze with his menacing act as Alauddin Khilji in Padmavati. Reportedly the actor got injured many times while shooting the movie's fighting scenes, but as twist in the tale his injury is good news for the makers. The young actor and the makers believe that if he gets injured while making a film, it’s bound to become a success. Ranveer has become quite superstitious about the connection between his injuries and the film’s success.

The source close to the Superstar mentioned, “Ranveer had hurt himself while shooting for Ram-Leela. The film became a huge hit. During Bajirao Mastani, while shooting for a war scene, he suffered a fracture and injured his shoulder badly. He had to undergo rigorous physiotherapy to recuperate. Look at the results - Bajirao Mastani was a hit and both, Ranveer-Deepika, swept all awards. The team is hoping that history repeats itself.”

Third time’s the charm? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, the trailer of Padmavati is getting huge love from the people. The looks of the starcast, especially Ranveer’s, are getting lots of praise.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.

The highly anticipated film of the year is slated to release on December 1.
