Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ tanked at the box office and put the superstar’s career in serious jeopardy. The actor, who’s currently filming Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Kaabil,’ a revenge saga, which will have the actor paired opposite Yami Gautam.
The film, which will have the actor play a blind man, made headlines when it got revealed that the film is headed for another titanic clash for Hrithik, after his disastrous clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’.
This time round, ‘Kaabil’ is headed for a Republic Day, 2017, clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s eagerly awaited ‘Raees’. The producers of both the films had been trying to avoid a clash to unsuccessful results. However, it could not be the only impending SRK-Hrithik clash.
Reportedly, the trailer of ‘Kaabil’ will be adjoined to Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay,’ which in itself is headed for a massively publicised Diwali clash with Karan Johar’s Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
And believe it or not, the trailer of Gauri Shinde’s Shah Rukh Khan – Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Dear Zindagi’ could be adjoined to Karan’s film. Complex, right? It sure does seem like the season of clashes for Bollywood.
Hrithik, who’s been extremely sceptical of the films coming his way has already declined to be a part of Yash Raj Film’s Victor Acharya directed ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. The film eventually went to Aamir Khan, who’ll now star in it alongside legend Amitabh Bachchan for the first time.
Hrithik reportedly has also turned down Sidharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ owing to issues with the script.
Seems like the average Hrithik Roshan fan’s wait for a film is going to be characteristically long after the release of ‘Kaabil’.
