Mumbai: Having got her first big break with the ‘Lakme Fashion Week’ (LFW) in 2013, celebrity fashion designer Astha Narang has come a long way in the industry now.

“To me, fashion is knowing your taste and making sure you dress up your best in the same,'' she says, adding “It (LFW) helped me, my designs and fabrics gain major recognition. I am very happy that it happened as I wanted to make sure what I offer is different and definitely up to the level.”

“Both of them are so gorgeous that they can slay in anything they wear. I love how they trust me and love my work. Besides, it also makes me feel that am good at what I am doing and gives me the confidence to push myself to do better and better.” Jacqueline is also her favourite female figure in the film industry.

Earlier, actors such as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Chitrangda Singh too have been spotted in, Astha Narang outfit at some occasions.

Asked about the most demanding aspect of her job, Astha tells, “It's a creative job and I love what I do. However, sometimes, you think of a design in your head and it doesn't turn out the way you want in the first attempt. So yes, patience is one thing that's necessary.”

Calling fashion a subjective view, Narang is all praise for Soha Ali Khan and considers working with the Bollywood actress, one of the best experiences for her so far.

Shedding light on her own idea of fashion she says, “I feel people have their own way to look at what they find fashionable and stylish. I think one must wear and dress up in what they feel like themselves.”

Astha finds creativity to be the best part of her job and adds, “You get to challenge yourself and put in your best creative step forward. Also, when you see a celeb dressing up and looking their best in something you made, it's the happiest feeling.”

Besides, she's also known for using ancient Indian hand-work with contemporary techniques in her collections quite often.
