Rohit Shetty celebrates his 45th birthday early on the sets of TV show

Mumbai: Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty rang in his 45th birthday early on the sets of his talent reality show, India’s Next Superstars. His Golmaal actor and close friend Shreyas Talpade dropped by as the surprise guest to join the surprise birthday party.

A source from the sets revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “Rohit cut a cake on the set and Shreyas, instead of singing the birthday song, chose to croon a lullaby from Golmaal Again, “Zu Zu Zu Zu”, that had put Ajay Devgn’s Gopal to sleep in the film. It sent everyone into a laughing fit while the birthday boy went on to shyly reveal that he isn’t too fond of celebrating birthdays and had last had a party as a teenager.”

Rohit had a gala time celebrating his special day with the entire unit of the show. Co-judge Karan Johar, who had just returned from London, was also present.

After the super success of 'Golmaal Again' last year, Rohit will soon kick off prep for his cop-comedy 'Simmba' with Ranveer Singh.
