Ranveer Singh believes he is good actor around Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma
Mumbai: Ranveer Singh has certainly set a high bar for his contemporaries after his passionate portrayal of Alauddin Khlji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama ‘Padmaavat’. The actor had the audience and critics going gaga over his performance as menacing antagonist in the film. ‘Padmaavat’ also marks Ranveer’s highest grossing film so far.
While speaking to a leading entertainment channel, the 'Lootera' actor talked about his co-stars. He said, “I genuinely believe you are as good as your co-actor, I have experienced it so many times with Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt now, Jim Sarbh in Padmaavat.”
He further said, “When you have somebody who is present, who is giving, who is connected it enriches and enhances your performance. I have been very blessed that in my journey I have had such special actors to collaborate with, to learn from. There are so many actors that I want to work with, where I feel I could learn so much. I hope to get those opportunities, Priyanka Chopra as well. It’s a wonderful collaborative process- this whole acting thing. It’s so personal in so many ways.”
Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' with Alia Bhatt. The 'Padmaavat' star will soon start working on Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba' and Kabir Khan's '1983'.
