Mumbai: Salman Khan’s career has always seen highs because despite flop films, his fans have always stood by him. However, when it came to his rapport with the media it was never encouraging. During the first decade of his career, his love affairs, his fights with his girlfriends always made its way to the gossip columns. Not the one to hide away or keep his relationship a secret, he has always been in the spotlight for what he did in his personal life.

In a dated press conference (late 90’s) Salman Khan is seen talking about what he would like to read about himself than just about his affairs. In this press conference, which was held on a movie set, he also told the media that who he hits and sleeps with is his problem. He tells to write good/bad about his performance in movies but stay away from his personal life.

Regarding the award shows in the country he admitted, “ I think people who are not confident about themselves they want award."
