Rishi-Neetu's new house plans revealed: 15 storey high-rise, 4 floors to park 45 cars
Mumbai: In 1980, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor bought KrishnaRaj bungalow on Pali Hill, which has been home to them and their kids Ranbir and Riddhima for 35 years. Now, the Kapoors have decided to take down their heritage bungalow.
As reported by thegoldensparrow.com, the couple has now decided to demolish the bungalow in order to make way for a 15 storey high-rise. Rishi and Neetu Kapoor have sought permission from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai to demolish the bungalow and construct the high-rise. However, the Kapoors are yet to obtain all the sanctions.
According to the plans submitted by Rishi and Neetu architect Yomesh Rao, the new building will have a basement, ground floor, while the first six floors will be specifically used as car parking space, to accommodate the Kapoor's 45 cars. The upper floors will have seven luxury flats, including two triplex and five smaller flats.
The building will have two flats of 1,100 and 2,000 sq ft, from seventh floor upwards, followed by another two flats on eighth floor of 1,100 and 930 sq ft each. Reports further reveal that the 9th, 10th and 11th floors will host a triplex of 4,500 sq ft, followed by another triplex on 12th, 13th and 14th floors.
The luxurious building will also have an open swimming pool on the terrace and a lounge. Once completed, the high-rise will go up to 69.88 metres.
MCGM is currently scrutinizing the proposal put up by the Kapoors. Though MCGM officials are yet to give their final nod, the lower offices have cleared the files.
Currently, Rishi, Neetu and Ranbir are living in their flat in Wilson Apartments, Bandra.
