Although it isn’t official yet, word is that Karan Johar is all set to launch the next star kid and this time, it’s none other than Shah Rukh Khan’s young son, Aryan. Details of the project are yet to emerge, but it is reliably learnt that Aryan will star opposite a fresh face — and no, it won’t be Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli as rumours suggest.

Says a source, “Aryan will have to go through rigorous training in dance and acting. He will be doing a full-time acting course before the film. Only when he is entirely ready to face the camera will the project be carried forward.”
The film launching Aryan may well be the sequel to Student of the Year, which has been in the pipeline for a while now. Adds the source, “As of now only Aryan has been finalised, the rest will follow.”
