When Big B danced with Sridevi on Jumma Chumma even before the song's release
Mumbai: 'Jumma Chumma' from film 'Hum' may be one of the most popular tracks featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan, but only a few know that the actor performed on the number with diva Sridevi, even before the song was officially released.
The 75-year-old took to Instagram, where he shared an old picture from a 1990 concert in London, in which he and Sridevi performed on "Jumma Chumma'.
Actors Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Neelam were also part of the group.
"1990... Wembley Stadium London. My stage concert after initiating actor participating concerts in the industry in the year 1983.
"Took along Sridevi, Aamir and Salman for their first concert ever. Salman had his first release then 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' and Aamir was a couple of films old," Bachchan wrote in the caption.
The show was titled 'the Jumma Chumma Show'.
"Performed the song Jumma Chumma with Sridevi even before the song and film had released. Incredible moment," he added.
'Hum' directed by Mukul S Anand released in 1991.
The superhit song featured Bachchan along side Kimi Katkar. The film also starred Rajinikanth, Govinda, Deepa Sahi, Shilpa Shirodkar, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher and Kader Khan.
