Watch: Vidya Balan is terrifying and poignant in 'Kahaani 2' dialogue promo

Mumbai: 'Kahaani' put a career too many on a sky high pedestal, including those of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, director Sujoy Ghosh, and even Vidya Balan to a fair extent.

The trailer of the sequel, 'Kahaani 2: Rani Durga Singh,' revealed that it's going to be even more complex, intriguing and riveting.

The brand new dialogue promo of the film further propels the dark tone of the film, with a raging Vidya going about doing her business. Once again, one can't figure if we are to root for or be wary of her.

The sequel also stars Arjun Rampal, who himself looks different from his usual demeanour as he plays a calculating cop trying to unravel the mystery surrounding Durga Rani Singh.

The film, which also stars Jugal Hansraj has been written by Sujoy Ghosh, himself. The film is scheduled to release on December 2, 2016.
