Mumbai: Rajkumar Hirani’s Ranbir Kapoor starrer Dutt biopic is one film that everyone is looking forward to watch in 2018. Ranbir’s miraculous transformation to look like Sanjay Dutt has generated huge curiosity amongst fans. While everyone is excited for film’s release there’s one person who is worried about something related to the film, its Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata. As per reports in Mumbai Mirror, the star wife is worried about her part in the film. She is not sure about how much importance has given to her character in the story. The reports further stated that director Rajkumar Hirani has not bothered to inform Maanayata about her character.
A source reveals in interaction with Mirror, “A nervous Maanyata has been calling all and sundry (including Ranbir Kapoor), trying to get more info on the movie.”
Ironically, Dia Mirza, who is playing Maanayata’s character in this Ranbir Kapoor starrer has great things to say about her role. “I believe Manyata is someone who has a strong sense of self. Ranbir has transformed himself into Sanjay totally but I don’t think others need to do the same. I have interacted with her over the years and I think she is the anchor in Sanjay’s life. But I have perceived Manyata through the wonderful writing (by Abhijat and Raju) that’s been written about her.”, Dia said when she was asked about playing Maanyata in the Dutt biopic, a few months back.
Maanayata and Sanjay Dutt got married in year 2008 and have twins together. Sanjay have always mentioned his wife’s importance in his life.
This Rajkumar Hirani directed film is currently in its last schedule and is gearing up for a March 2018 release. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Dia Mirza it also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, and Vicky Kaushal.
