People felt that he is being insecure due to Ranveer Singh who stole major limelight in the trailer and got trolled mercilessly.

Shahid must have thought that people will go gaga over his well-sculpted body but instead got some extremely negative reactions.

Some of the comments were like, "@shahidkapoor You could have work better on your physique #poorbodywork Even yesterday's star @sushantsinghrajput has far better body than you !!", ‘Hahaha popat lag raha hai’, ‘Bad Physique Shahid Bhai !’,  ‘most horrible one’, ‘you are looking great but I haven’t seen raja with lean muscles. If you had few kilos u would steal the show..but in this film shahid will be hide in between two others’, ‘Shahid You chose a wrong film…u will totally get overshadowed!!!’
Oh well, we are sure Shahid wasn’t prepared to hear all this!
