Taapsee Pannu’s latest outing, Pink, garnered her a lot of fame and success, setting the ball rolling for her future endeavours. Up next for the actress is Running Shaadi.com, which is all set to release in January.
The movie had been shot even before Baby, which had been stuck for two long years. Running Shaadi.com, also stars Amit Sadh, alongside Tapsee in the lead, and will be directed by Amit Roy. The romantic movie, produced by Shoojit Sircar, is a romantic comedy, shot primarily in Amritsar, Punjab.
Says a source close to the development, “Running Shaadi.com, which was shot before Baby, was not released as the makers wanted more commercial value. Since Pink has been released, the makers are to release the film in January.”
Taapsee’s last outing with Shoojit, Pink, also starred Kirti Kulhari and Angad Bedi. It saw Big B play the role of a lawyer to rave reviews, and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directed the movie.
