Mumbai: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is one witty man and it is this characteristic feature of his that keeps us glued to his Twitter handle. Kapoor, who has come up with some of the most hilarious tweets in the past, commented on the recently released trailer of the Ranveer Singh-Vaani Kapoor starrer ‘Befikre’.
The straight-forward actor went on to call it an adult version of Chandni’.
Kapoor not only complimented the trailer of ‘Befikre’ but also took the liberty to compare it with his iconic film ‘Chandni’ where he played the role of a heartbroken lover who eventually reunites with his beloved.
Unlike high-on-emotions drama ‘Chandni’, ‘Befikre’ is a modern take on love and has the no-strings-attached policy at its heart, Kapoor draws comparison between both the films and finds stark similarities – ‘exotic locale, natural actors, naughty, witty, funny, romantic!’
It will be interesting to see what the maker, Aditya Chopra has to say about it. The team of ‘Befikre’ launched its trailer on October 10 at the Eiffel Tower. Since its release, the trailer has been viewed over 10 million times.
