Imposter returns, Sajid Nadiadwala files a third complaint with cyber cell
Mumbai: Sajid Nadiadwala is back to being terrorised by the existence of an imposter. The ace producer-director had been embroiled in a controversy back in July, when industry colleagues began getting messages from an imposter, on Facebook.
Sajid, who’s yet to debut on social media platforms and forums, had lodged a complaint with the cyber cell and got the issue dealt with.
But the ‘Kick’ director has fresh worries to deal with as since the first week of October, a fresh bout of criminal impersonation had plagued him. Sajid’s actor friends had begun calling him enquiring about the casting for his upcoming set of films.
His wife Warda had been receiving queries on her Twitter forum, as well. Upon scrutiny, it turned out an imposter had resurfaced on Facebook, and had been conducting fake casting calls.
Sajid lodged a second complaint, and though the profile did fall stagnant for a while, the casting calls have begun again and Sajid has no option but to lodge a third complaint.
““It is not happening just with me. Some of my industry friends are also facing the same issue,” DNA quoted Sajid as saying.
