The terror attack on the Amarnath Yatra pilgrims on Sunday evening has left the nation shocked. The Hindi film fraternity too mourned the loss of innocent lives.
Personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Randeep Hooda, Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar, Huma Qureshi and Gul Panag took to social media to condemn the attack.
SRK’s tweet read, “Saddening to see innocent lives being taken. Prayers for the victims & may God give strength to the families of the #AmarnathYatra pilgrims (sic).”
“Thoughts and prayers to the people who lost their families in the #AmarnathYatra attack. How can someone attack people on a peaceful path (sic),” tweeted Varun Dhawan.
His tweet further reads, “Totally shocked and disturbed with the news about the #AmarnathYatra. Don’t understand how can such people exist. Terrorist are cowards (sic).”
Akshay Kumar wrote, “Attack on innocent #AmarnathYatra pilgrims is a low of another level! Angry and sad...prayers for all those affected (sic).” Anupam Kher was terse, “It is high time we stop being diplomatic & defensive. Killing of innocent people should be dealt with total force. #AmarnathYatra (sic).”
