Mumbai: Prakash Jha, who is popular to make hard hitting dramas based on the social issues, is set to move from his usual genre. According to some reports, the 'Gangaajal' director is planning a two-hero heist movie with Sanjay Dutt and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead.
According to sources, the director has approached Sanjay and Sidharth and the two have agreed to do the film. The two are also likely to start shooting for the movie by the end of the year. While the two actors are reportedly on-board, the leading ladies for the film will soon be finalised.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt has signed seven Bollywood films so far, namely - 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3', 'Kalank', 'Shamshera', 'Housefull 4', 'Torbaaz', 'Prasathanam', 'Panipat'. It is widely known that filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has directed a biopic on Sanjay Dutt named 'Sanju' starring Ranbir Kapoor in the title role. The multi-starrer film is slated to release on June 29.
On the other hand, Sidharth has Vikram Batra biopic and 'Shotgun Shaadi' in the pipeline.
