Arjun Kapoor pays last respect to his late grandmother Sattee Shourie

Arjun Kapoor's maternal grandmother, Sattee Shourie, has passed away following a prolonged illness. According to reports, she had been hospitalized for the past few days. Sattee Shourie was the mother of Mona Kapoor, producer Boney Kapoor's first wife. Boney divorced Mona in 1996 and married Sridevi soon after. Mona then reportedly fell ill and suffered with health complications that ultimately lead to her death in 2012. Sattee had produced the film 'Farishtay' and television series 'Sheesha'.

Sattee Shourie's final rites were conducted at a crematorium on Saturday evening in Mumbai where few personalities were spotted paying condolences to the family. Director Anil Sharma, Satish Kaushik, Boney Kapoor, Indra Kumar, fashion designer Kunal Rawal and Mohit Marwah were few to attend the funeral.
