Impromptu honeymoon: Sonam Kapoor back to work and hubby Anand follows her

Tradition is to give way to a celebrity’s busy lifestyle as Sonam Kapoor’s new spouse Anand is likely to accompany her to Cannes immediately after their marriage.

If sources close to the Kapoor family are to be believed Anand Ahuja will be accompanying his smashing wife to Cannes on a two-day visit to the Cannes Film Festival.

According to the source, “Cannes was a commitment made well in advance. And she couldn’t wriggle out of it. The only solution was for Anand to accompany her for an impromptu honeymoon.” Though a final decision on this flash-honeymoon will be taken later, it is learnt that Anand has given his consent to accompany his wife to Cannes from where the newly-married couple may head to another part of France for a brief vacation. In any case, we might as well be prepared to see Anand accompany his wife to a lot of her work engagements.

A family friend puts it aptly. “She won’t leave her career. He won’t let her go alone anywhere. As simple as that.”
