Kriti Sanon had just about finished her next film Mimi before the coronavirus lockdown was announced.
The actress is now awaiting the shoot of her next film with Rajkummar Rao for producer Dinesh Vijan. The comedy film, directed by Abhishek Jain also stars Dimple Kapadia and Paresh Rawal.
Kriti, who has worked with Rajkummar before on the successful and critically acclaimed Bareilly Ki Barfi, is excited to reunite with him once they can get back to the floorboards. She is also keen to work again with Tiger Shroff, whom she made debut with in Heropanti (2014).
"Your first co-star will always be a special one and Kriti and Tiger have learnt so much together," says our source.
Meanwhile, when Tiger was asked in a recent live chat if audiences can expect a sequel to Heropanti with Kriti, he said it’s unclear at the moment.
"Right now, we don’t even have a script that’s locked. Once the script is locked, we will definitely come to know and have a good idea of that. But right now, it is too early to say. She is also quite busy with her line-up at the moment so we will have to see. I would love to work with Kriti again, but she is too big of a star to work with somebody like me," the humble actor said.
Kriti made sure to leave a funny response to Tiger’s comment, saying, "Says the superstar who rarely does less than `100 cr on the box-office! Ha-ha... What rubbish Tiger! You say when & which film, and I’m on! Anyways it’s been too long, so you better work with me soon!
